Uniset® Trio
Is it necessary to use all three Minolei Uniset® products together?
Our products are designed to be used together for maximum effect, however they also work perfectly solo. To decide what's best for you, we have created some helpful tips:
- The Uniset® Lightweight Foundation is skin-loving, suitable for all skin types – dry to oily and everything in between. It works beautifully on its own or as a Uniset® Trio.
- The Uniset® Oil-Absorbing Primer is concentrated, apply concentrated amounts on areas that need it the most (those that wear makeup off easily and/or oily zones on the face). Its silky texture will deliver a smooth pore-minimising/blurring base with the added bonus of oil control throughout the day. You can expect a flawless, long-lasting base.
- In addition to its all overuse, the Uniset® Oil-Absorbing Powder has so many other applications. It acts as an excellent eye makeup primer or setting concealer around your eyes and nose area.
- For a flawless makeup base that is long lasting, add the primer or powder (or both) to your base makeup routine.
- Use all three if you are looking for the highest performance outcome for your base makeup and/or have oily skin that doesn't hold makeup well normally throughout the day.
- In warmer/summer months or if you have oily to combination skin, we recommend using all three products together to increase performance.
- Drop down to either the foundation + powder or primer + foundation if you have dry skin or during cooler/winter months.
Uniset® Skin Effect
What is the skin effect of using your products?
Our Uniset® Lightweight Foundation gives the skin a natural, hydrated glow that can be described as somewhere between dewy and matte. We believe added nourishing ingredients provide a hydrated base suitable to all skin types that doesn’t dry or look cakey throughout the day.
Our Uniset® Oil-Absorbing Primer and Powder both give a satin-matte result. If you use our products in tandem, you will get a soft satin-matte hydrated finish.
While we believe you will find our foundation leaves a hydrated finish, you can apply a dewy base prior to foundation by adding a hydrating moisturiser or SPF prior. You can alternately finish setting, or freshen up, makeup throughout the day with Lernberger Stafsing Hydrating Toner Mist.
How do I get a light coverage from your foundation?
Our foundation delivers natural, skin-like coverage that is buildable to a full makeup look that lasts all day without drying or caking. Should you desire lighter coverage. we suggest starting with applying a light layer and building as desired. Another option that we recommend is to mix 1 part primer with 3 parts foundation. This will decrease the risk of the makeup dissolving on oily or combination skin. If you have very dry skin, you can mix with your daily moisturiser. Experiment to see what works for you.
Can I use a setting spray over your products?
Tests have shown no issues with applying setting sprays/mists after applying Minolei. However, we believe that when used together, our products are so effective that you might find you can drop this product from your routine - saving you time and money.
Uniset® Formulation
Do your products contain fragrances/perfumes?
None of the products contain added fragrance, perfume or essential oils. You may notice a subtle natural scent of ingredients upon application, which dissipates quickly after application.
Have your products been dermatologically tested?
Yes, and they have deemed to be low irritant and suitable even for sensitive skin.
Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes, and yes. We are against animal testing and do not sell our products on markets where animal testing is required.
Where are your products made?
Our products are formulated in Sweden and manufactured in Italy.
How can I be confident your ingredients are skin friendly and safe to use?
We follow the cosmetics legislation within the EU that
pertains to cosmetics production and use of ingredients. We also have our own internal blacklist of ingredients that we do not approve of being used in our formulas.
Our products are dermatologically tested, developed to be non-irritating with ingredients that allows the skin to breathe. Our formulations contain a combination of natural and nature mimicking ingredients, all of which not only enhance the performance of the products, but are also beneficial for your skin. You and your skin can wear our products with confidence.
