Lip Care Vanilla is a lip balm with vanilla extract from Madagascar. It protects and nourishes your lips, making them soft and smooth.
Lip Care aids the skin on lips to retain moisture, contributing to the reduction of fine lines around the mouth. The formulation is nourishing, ample and long-lasting making it effective on dry and cracked lips.
Lips are particularly susceptible to cold and windy conditions, as the skin is very thin, with only 3–5 layers of skin cells, compared to 15 layers on the rest of the body. Skin on the lips may also have difficulty producing enough oil, particularly if you use mineral oil on your lips.
We use plant-based oils instead of mineral oils (Vaseline, paraffin and petroleum) which can be found in most other lip care products. As mineral oils dehydrate the skin, and provide no vitamins, it may take a few weeks to wean the skin off mineral oil; the amount of time needed depends on how long and how much you have been using it.
Note: Individuals who are allergic to pollen may be sensitive to the beeswax used in this product.
